The Los Angeles Angels have signed infielder Keston Hiura to a minor league deal. Hiura, who was released from Triple-A Toledo by the Detroit Tigers on June 3, will report to Triple-A Salt Lake. Hiura, a former top prospect with the Milwaukee Brewers and a UC Irvine alum, last played in the Major Leagues with the Brewers in 2022. Additionally, the Angels announced that infielder Niko Goodrum was claimed on waivers by the Pittsburgh Pirates.
