The Taliban has arrested and disarmed Abdul Hamid Khorasani, a prominent Tajik commander from Panjshir known for his support of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). Khorasani, who previously held several positions within the Taliban, was removed from his post following the release of controversial videos. Afghan media outlet Hasht e Subah Daily reported that Takfiri Abdul Hamid Khorasani, who had labeled the Iranian government as infidel and issued threats against it, was imprisoned by the Taliban. Following his arrest, an account linked to Khorasani deleted pro-Taliban content and posted messages of resistance. Additionally, Khorasani confirmed on social media that his personal property was confiscated and his gunmen disarmed by the Taliban.
