Somalia celebrated its 64th Anniversary of Independence with various events, including a flag-raising ceremony attended by President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud in Mogadishu. President Mohamud also paid tribute to fallen heroes by placing a wreath at the Dhagah-Tur monument. Additionally, he visited the homes of government officials to celebrate independence.
