On Wednesday, two bombings targeting political offices in southwestern Pakistan have resulted in at least 29 fatalities and more than two dozen injuries. The Islamic State's Pakistan Offshoot (ISPP) has claimed responsibility for both attacks that occurred today. The first attack involved a motorcycle bomb at an independent candidate's election office in Khanozai, Pishin, while the second bombing occurred at the election office of Jamiat Ulema Islam (JUI-F) in Balochistan. The ISPP, also referred to as the Islamic State Pakistan Province, executed the attacks using motorcycle-borne improvised explosive devices (IEDs), which killed 28 people and wounded over 40 individuals across the incidents in Pishin and Qila Saifullah districts.
