Hossein Ashtari States Iran's Firm Position in Nuclear Negotiations with U.S. and Israel

Hossein Ashtari, security adviser to Iran’s armed forces chief, stated that Iran's position in nuclear negotiations with the United States remains unchanged. He emphasized, "Our position is firm and will continue to the end. It is the Americans and the Israelis who must accept our terms." This statement reflects Iran's consistent stance in ongoing discussions, asserting that the responsibility lies with the U.S. and Israel to accommodate Iran's demands. Additionally, Hossein Shariatmadari, a representative of Iran's Supreme Leader in the Kayhan newspaper, noted that the U.S. representative at the negotiations only proposed assurances regarding the non-military nature of Iran's nuclear program, while maintaining a position of demanding the dismantlement of Iran's nuclear capabilities.
