Trump-Backed World Liberty Financial to Audit USD1 Stablecoin, Launch App, and Expand WLFI Token with Re7 Partnership

World Liberty Financial Inc., a decentralized finance platform affiliated with the Trump family, is gaining notable interest from public companies seeking to hold its governance token, WLFI, as a treasury asset. Co-founder Zak Folkman announced plans to release an audit of the platform's USD1 stablecoin within days, which will disclose its reserve backing. The company is also preparing to launch a new investor-friendly app and make the WLFI token transferable soon. World Liberty Financial has partnered with Re7 Labs to introduce a USD1 stablecoin vault on Binance's BNB Chain, supported by Re7 Capital's $10 million investment. The stablecoin USD1 has grown to become the second most used stablecoin by 24-hour volume, with a market capitalization of $2.2 billion and nearly 290,000 holders, predominantly on the BNB Chain. The stablecoin is custodied by BitGo and has been integrated as a reserve asset by Plume for its native pUSD stablecoin, further expanding its adoption in the decentralized finance ecosystem.
