Invesco, Galaxy Register Solana ETF in Delaware as SEC Speeds Reviews; Decision Could Come by July

Invesco Ltd. and Galaxy Asset Management have registered the “Invesco Galaxy Solana ETF” with the State of Delaware, adding to the growing roster of firms seeking to launch spot Solana exchange-traded funds. The filing, believed to be the eighth of its kind, underscores the entry of traditional asset managers into the Solana market. Invesco oversees about $1.8 trillion in assets, signaling substantial institutional heft behind the application.

The registration follows reports that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is accelerating its review of Solana-based funds. Bloomberg said the agency has instructed Fidelity, VanEck and Grayscale to amend their prospectuses, focusing on how the products will handle crypto redemptions and whether they would distribute staking rewards to investors. Industry observers now anticipate that the SEC could rule on the submissions as early as July.

An SEC green light would give U.S. investors regulated, exchange-traded exposure to Solana for the first time and could draw fresh institutional demand to the blockchain’s native token. The latest move comes after the rollout of spot Bitcoin ETFs earlier this year and suggests widening appetite for diversified digital-asset investment vehicles.
