Fidelity’s filing introduces the proposed ticker "SOEZ," while Grayscale outlined a 2.5% management fee and switched its auditor to KPMG. Vaneck added a staking feature, and 21Shares disclosed a 1.5% fee. Fidelity oversees more than $800 billion in assets, Franklin Templeton about $1.58 trillion and Vaneck roughly $116 billion, underscoring the scale of institutions vying for a Solana product.
The wave of updated filings follows recent reports that the SEC could act sooner than expected on spot Solana ETFs, after having already cleared similar products tied to Bitcoin and Ether. Market participants view the coordinated amendments as a sign that the regulator’s review is entering its final stages, potentially paving the way for the first U.S. ETFs offering direct exposure to Solana and its staking yield.
