Doodles Launches $DOOD Token on Solana With 68% Community Airdrop, Binance and Crypto.com Listings

Doodles, a leading NFT collection, has launched its native token, $DOOD, on the Solana blockchain, with the airdrop beginning May 9 at 9:05am ET. The token generation event saw $DOOD immediately listed on major exchanges, including Binance (Alpha and Features Zones) and Crypto.com, with a total supply of 10 billion tokens and 68% allocated to the community. Airdrop distribution includes 30% for existing Doodles holders, 13% for 'New Blood' participants from select Solana and BNB Chain communities such as BonkBot users, DRiP creators, Solana Mobile holders, and BSC projects, and the remainder for ecosystem development, team, and liquidity. Existing holders were required to pre-register for the airdrop, while 'New Blood' recipients received tokens automatically based on activity in partner communities. OG Doodles holders received 185,000 tokens per NFT. The launch has driven a 97% increase in Doodles NFT trading volume, with the collection ranking in the top three for daily NFT sales. Dooplicator, a related NFT, also broke into the top 10. At launch, $DOOD traded at $0.0419 before dropping over 70% to $0.0123. The token's market capitalization was reported between $95 million and $100 million, with the base airdrop per Doodle NFT valued at about $1,800 and a floor price of 2 ETH. Users can purchase $DOOD with USD, EUR, and other fiat currencies on platforms such as Crypto.com and spend it via the Crypto.com Visa Card. Doodles partnered with OKX for early access and allowlist giveaways, allowing select users to subscribe for up to 250 USDT of $DOOD at a $30 million market cap. The project plans to eventually bridge $DOOD to the Base blockchain.
