Axelar Jumps Over 70% After Upbit Lists AXL in Korean Won Pair

South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, Upbit, listed Axelar’s AXL token on 10 June, introducing a new AXL/KRW trading pair that allows investors to trade the cross-chain interoperability asset directly against the won.
AXL jumped as much as 90% immediately after the listing, and was still up about 60% later in the session. CoinGecko recorded a 24-hour gain of 73.5%, placing Axelar at the top of multiple daily gainer tables. The project said first-day turnover for the new pair ranked among Upbit’s five busiest markets.
The listing broadens Axelar’s geographic reach and highlights revived demand for decentralised-finance tokens. Compound advanced roughly 29% over the same period, while Uniswap added about 24%.
