The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) Homicide Bureau is currently investigating two separate incidents in East Los Angeles and Norwalk. In East LA, a death investigation is underway in the 4800 block of Civic Center Way. Meanwhile, in Norwalk, a deputy-involved shooting occurred, which is also under investigation by the LASD Homicide Bureau. The shooting took place at the 11000 block of Rosecrans Avenue. A man has been hospitalized following the incident, and reports indicate that the suspect was armed with a shotgun.
