In Varsity Boys’ Basketball, Campbell Hall faced Brentwood in a game that saw Brentwood leading 32-13 at the end of the 1st quarter and 51-33 at halftime. However, Campbell Hall made a comeback, trailing 65-58 at the end of the 3rd quarter and ultimately securing a 79-69 victory. Additionally, other basketball games included Rancho Cucamonga defeating Chino Hills 84-69, and San Pedro winning 81-21 against Rancho Dominguez in the girls' category. Triton Boys’ Basketball also clinched a share of the South Coast League title with a 47-44 win over Tesoro. The Nike Extravaganza featured several games, including Campbell Hall's 57-44 victory over Anaheim Canyon and Aliso Niguel's 58-54 win against St. Margaret's. Modesto Christian secured an 88-78 win over Lynwood, with Marcus Washington and Gavin Sykes leading the way with 25 points each. JSerra also emerged victorious with a 54-48 win over San Diego St. Augustine, and Harvard-Westlake led Foothill 18-15 at the end of the 1st quarter in the Nike Extravaganza.
