North Las Vegas has opened the first standalone pickleball courts. The North Las Vegas Central Area Command project, led by Mayor Pamela Goynes-Brown, is nearing completion and aims to open in April/May after starting in May 2022. The project is a response to the city's rapid growth and nationwide police staffing shortages.
