The operation, known as the 'DUI Blitz,' aimed to remove impaired drivers from the roads and enhance public safety in Clark County. The LVMPD DUI Strike Team, which was restarted on May 18, played a significant role in the enforcement efforts. The team, consisting of 10 officers, worked alongside various LVMPD divisions, including NEAC, SEAC, Traffic, Dispatch, and mobile phlebotomists.
