Additionally, the virus that causes St. Louis encephalitis has been found in two mosquito pools, comprising 46 mosquitoes from two ZIP codes. Aedes aegypti mosquitoes have tested positive for West Nile virus for the first time in Clark County. Health officials are urging residents to take precautions against mosquitoes as complaints from the public continue to rise.
