Over the weekend, the Apple Store in Downtown Summerlin, Las Vegas, was targeted twice by thieves, resulting in the theft of thousands of dollars worth of merchandise. The first incident occurred around noon and the second at 6 pm on Saturday. Remarkably, these thefts took place just hours after a visit from Apple CEO Tim Cook, who was there to engage with employees and customers for Super Bowl weekend. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has since arrested at least one person, while three individuals were arrested on Wednesday accused of stealing at least $10,000 in merchandise.
