The average price of oil under President Trump was $58 per barrel, while under the current President it is $83 per barrel. This increase in oil prices is raising concerns about whether it is giving Iran enough money to fund terrorist groups. According to Rep. Darrell Issa, more than $60 billion has been allowed to flow to Iran in sanctions that were not enforced and in oil that was allowed to be sold. Iran makes 70% of its revenue from oil and has doubled its oil output since 2019, adding $40 billion to its revenues.
