The Israeli MFA has emphasized from their headquarters in Jerusalem that they are dedicated to the safe return of more than 100 Israeli hostages. Concurrently, a letter addressed to the Security Cabinet and signed by over 130 former Israeli officers who served in the Gaza conflict, has been submitted to the Israeli Chief of Staff. The letter urges that displaced Gazan civilians should not be allowed to return to their homes in the northern Gaza Strip until the hostages are released.
