Over the span of several days from January 15 to January 18, a substantial amount of humanitarian aid was transferred into Gaza amid a severe humanitarian crisis. The aid, which included food, water, and medical supplies, was delivered through different crossings. On January 15, 227 trucks entered Gaza, followed by 218 trucks on January 16, which were inspected and transferred via two crossings: Nitzana (Rafah) and Kerem Shalom. The Palestine Red Crescent confirmed the receipt of 25 trucks through the Rafah crossing on the same day. On January 17, 208 trucks entered, and on January 18, the number increased to 240 trucks. Additionally, 146 trucks were reported to have entered from the Kerem Shalom crossing on January 18. Despite the influx of aid, reports highlighted that no hostages were released during this period.
