The YSR Congress Party's (YSRCP) central office in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, was demolished amid allegations of illegal land occupation. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) criticized former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, claiming that property worth crores was given to YSRCP without proper permissions. The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) accused YSRCP of acquiring prime lands in 26 districts and engaging in illegal activities. YSRCP, in turn, blamed TDP for engaging in vendetta politics and attempting to demolish their party and symbol. TDP's Deepak Reddy stated that stealing government land cannot be justified, while YSRCP's Ravi C Reddy argued that TDP's actions were purely revenge-driven. The demolition was carried out using bulldozers, and BJP's Vinusha Reddy emphasized that permission was not taken for the construction.
