The Supreme Court has granted bail to Professor Shoma Kanti Sen, who has been accused in the Bhima Koregaon case, also known as the Elgar Parishad-Maoist links case, and has been in jail since 2018. The court stipulated several conditions for her bail, including that Sen shall not leave Maharashtra without the special court's permission, must inform the investigating officer about her place of stay, and keep the GPS of her mobile phone active throughout the bail period.
