The mortal remains of several Indian nationals who died in the Kuwait fire tragedy have been repatriated to their respective hometowns. Victims include Santosh Kumar Gouda and Md Jahur from Odisha, whose bodies arrived in Bhubaneswar, Dwarkesh Patnaik from West Bengal, whose body arrived at Dum Dum Airport, and Mohammad Ali Hussain from Ranchi. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has provided financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh to the families of two victims from Gorakhpur. State Fire Services Minister Sujit Bose was present on behalf of the state government. BJP leader Ravi Kishan also met with the families of Angad Gupta and Jairam Gupta, who were among the 45 Indians who lost their lives in the fire.
