The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has accused K Kavitha of coercing Sarath Reddy, Director of Aurobindo Pharma, to pay Rs 25 crore to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). According to the CBI's remand papers, Kavitha allegedly threatened to harm Reddy's business if he did not comply with her demands. This included an initial transaction where Reddy was made to pay Rs 14 crore for a land deal, with an additional demand of Rs 25 crore purportedly for securing liquor retail zones.
