Various instruments on board ISRO's Aditya-L1 mission have captured detailed images of the Sun's dynamic activities during a solar storm in May 2024. The Solar Ultra Violet Imaging Telescope (SUIT) and the Visible Emission Line Coronagraph (VELC) provided unprecedented views, including solar flares and auroras triggered by the storm.
Several payloads on board #AdityaL1, CH-2 Orbiter & XPoSat had observed the X & M class solar flares that caused a geomagnetic storm last month resulting in auroras to be seen all the down to Ladakh! Here's some images of that event captured by SUIT & VELC on Aditya-L1 👇 #ISRO https://t.co/4ErzTPAGgg
