The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has made adjustments to the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 schedule, involving matches of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Rajasthan Royals (RR), Gujarat Titans (GT), and Delhi Capitals (DC). The KKR's home game against RR, initially set for April 17 in Kolkata, has been moved to April 16 due to the observance of Ram Navami, according to a BCCI source quoted by PTI. Consequently, the GT vs DC match, originally scheduled for April 16 in Ahmedabad, will now take place on April 17. These changes were confirmed after BCCI called a meeting with IPL team owners, scheduled for April 16 in Ahmedabad. The rescheduling aims to accommodate the festival of Ram Navami and ensure smooth conduct of the matches.
