India Repels Pakistani Drone and Missile Attacks at 26 Locations, Launches Counteroffensive Amid Civilian Plane Use Accusations

India has repelled a series of drone and missile attacks launched by Pakistan targeting multiple military bases and locations along the international border. The attacks were reported at Indian military stations in Jammu, Pathankot, and Udhampur, with no casualties or damage as Indian armed forces intercepted and destroyed the incoming drones and missiles. The strikes extended to 26 locations across northern and western India, including Baramulla, Srinagar, Avantipora, Nagrota, Ferozepur, Fazilka, Lalgarh Jatta, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Bhuj, Kuarbet, and Lakhi Nala. Indian authorities also accused Pakistan of using civilian aircraft as shields during these aerial attacks, posing risks to civilian flights. In response, India has launched a strong counteroffensive following these incursions, emphasizing heightened tensions along the western borders between the two countries.
