The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) of India, through its official spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal, has strongly rejected what it calls 'baseless allegations' of Indian interference in Canadian elections, asserting that it is not the policy of the Government of India to interfere in other nations' democratic processes. The MEA also addressed the deaths of five Indian students in the US, with two being Indian nationals and three of Indian origin but US nationals. The MEA's response to Canada's allegations was firm, stating 'They've Been Interfering' in India's internal matters, and indicated 'No Foul Play, Interconnectedness' in the context of the students' deaths.
