Meanwhile, the heatwave in Bihar is expected to abate soon, and the southwest monsoon is advancing towards north India, bringing relief to Delhi-NCR residents. The maximum temperatures in Delhi are forecasted to remain below 40 degrees Celsius for the rest of the week, dipping to 36 degrees Celsius by June 30. Rainfall across India is 19% below normal till June 25, with Mumbai experiencing 40-45% below normal rainfall in June.
