Former Delhi minister Raaj Kumar Anand has been disqualified from the Delhi assembly. Anand, who resigned from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) two months ago, was disqualified for violating the anti-defection law after joining the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and contesting elections. The decision was announced by the Delhi assembly speaker. Anand expressed that he was not given any time and had not received the order sheet yet, learning about his disqualification through media reports. He stated that he was made ex-parte.
