Similarly, the Supreme Court has refused to entertain a petition seeking to bar PM Modi from elections for allegedly making hate speeches during campaigning. The Supreme Court also dismissed another petition seeking directions for the Election Commission of India to address hate speech allegations against PM Modi and other BJP leaders during the ongoing Lok Sabha elections. The Supreme Court also rejected a petition to ban PM Modi from elections for 6 years.
