Delhi Police took necessary legal action, and nothing suspicious was found. Similarly, a Chennai-Dubai flight received a hoax bomb threat call and was re-routed to Bengaluru. Coimbatore International Airport also received an email bomb threat on Tuesday afternoon, which was verified to be a hoax after thorough checks by CISF and police personnel. Chennai airport experienced two hoax bomb threats in two days. BCAS Chief Zulfiquar Hasan reported an increase in hoax bomb threats over the past 2.5 months, with 41 airports targeted today alone. Six people have been arrested, and a proposal for a 5-year flying ban for perpetrators is in the pipeline. Security has been tightened at the Meghalaya high court following a bomb threat received via email on Tuesday.
