Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate for the excise policy case probe. Kejriwal is unlikely to appear before the agency and has questioned the timing of the summonses, alleging that they are aimed at preventing him from campaigning for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has accused the BJP of trying to arrest Kejriwal to hinder his election campaign. Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann met with Britain's High Commissioner to discuss investment in Punjab's industrial policy and food processing sector. Both Kejriwal and Mann are currently in Goa to meet party workers and discuss Lok Sabha seat negotiations with INDIA bloc partners.
