Flight operations at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport, as announced by Delhi International Airport Limited, will be suspended daily from 10:20 am to 12:45 pm IST from January 19 to January 26, 2024, due to Republic Day celebrations. This will lead to over 700 flights being cancelled. Concurrently, Chandigarh Metrological Department scientist AK Singh has reported that very dense fog is expected with no rain in Haryana and Chandigarh for the next 3-4 days. The Met Department has issued orange and yellow alerts for fog in approximately 14 districts of Punjab, including Jalandhar. SpiceJet has also informed of possible disruptions on January 20 due to poor visibility in Dharamshala.
