In Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district, security forces have intensified operations against Naxalites, resulting in the death of eight Naxals. On May 25, 33 Naxalites, including three with a cumulative bounty of ₹5 lakh, surrendered to the DIG of CRPF and Superintendent of Police. These individuals were given ₹25,000 each as part of the state's surrender and rehabilitation policy.
