During an NHL game, Mark Scheifele of the Winnipeg Jets collided awkwardly with the boards but continued playing after a blade replacement. Scheifele was involved in a slash incident with Rasmus Dahlin of the Buffalo Sabres, who later returned to play despite the incident. Dahlin had a left leg issue after a cheap shot slash from Scheifele, which was not penalized.
Dahlin is back out for the third period after taking that cheap slash from Scheifele. #Sabres
Dahlin is OK and out here for the third.

Dahlin had some issue with the left leg and was reaching behind him...And replay shows it was a cheap shot slash to the back of the leg by Scheifele. Not seen, not called. #Sabres
#NHLJets C Mark Scheifele went into the boards awkwardly as Owen Power broke up the 2-on-1 rush. Scheifele has his blade replaced and he looks like he's good to go.
