Amadio executed a nifty top-shelf goal past goalie Cam Talbot, following a well-orchestrated play that isolated the last defenseman. Pavel Dorofeyev and Brayden McNabb were credited with assists on the goal. The Knights capitalized on a rare breakdown of the Kings' 1-3-1 neutral zone strategy, which allowed Dorofeyev to enter the zone and set up Amadio for the score.
