The Vegas Golden Knights and the Chicago Blackhawks battled to a 3-3 tie in a game marked by missed opportunities and turnovers. The Knights took an early 2-0 lead with goals from Pavel Dorofeyev, set up by Michael Amadio, and Shea Theodore. The Blackhawks clawed back with goals from Ryan Donato and Taylor Raddysh, who capitalized on a turnover by Theodore for their first lead of the game. Despite being awarded power plays due to penalties by Kurashev and Murphy, the Knights missed several chances. Theodore, however, redeemed himself with a goal, assisted by Jack Eichel, tying the game 3-3 with 8:32 left.
