The Seattle Kraken and the Carolina Hurricanes went into overtime for the second consecutive game, with the score tied 2-2 after 60 minutes. The Kraken had a strong start, leading 1-0 after the first period. Jared McCann scored the first goal with a backhand shot on a partial breakaway.
