The Philadelphia Flyers clinched an overtime victory against the Vegas Golden Knights, marking their fourth consecutive win. Despite an early push from the Golden Knights, the Flyers, aided by goalie Carter Hart, took the lead. The game saw a series of twists and turns, with the Flyers failing to capitalize on a five-minute power play, and Jonathan Marchessaullt tying the game at 3-3 for the Golden Knights. However, the Flyers managed to secure the win in overtime, further dampening the Golden Knights' recent performance, who despite leading the NHL with 27 points, have now lost four of their last five games.

Avalanche score 6 straight goals to knock off Stars https://t.co/1tm7ZvKl4t https://t.co/ebyDAgCYbx
Down 3-0, the Avalanche picked themselves up, dusted themselves off, and went to work, dominating the final 27 minutes, and making a statement with a 6-3 victory over the Central Division leading Dallas Stars. https://t.co/WfycHZgdez
6 straight goals for the Avalanche in Dallas. That’s a big time statement from the team. Avs win 6-3.
Joel Kiviranta, Andrew Cogliano and Val Nichushkin combined for four points (2 goals and 2 assists). Avs were down 3-0. They win 6-3. Stars season-long four-game winning streak gets snapped
The #Avs have scored five unanswered goals. Mikko Rantanen and Andrew Cogliano score moments apart, and Colorado suddenly leads 5-3. Quite a comeback in Dallas.
Mikko Rantanen roofs a backhander from the slot to make it 4-3. Andrew Cogliano sweeps one across the goal line to make it 5-3. Wild #Avs comeback here in Dallas.
Valeri Nichushkin has taken over this game. Great work by him, and Rantanen labels a backhand top shelf to give the Avs the lead. 4-3. And wait, it’s 5-3. Cogliano.
Valeri Nichushkin nets a big goal to make it 3-3. #Avs have come all the way back from a three goal deficit.
Val Nichushkin was one of the few bright spots for the #Avs, even when it was 3-0 Dallas. He's been good all night, and the puck just found him in a fortunate spot. 3-3 game. Avs have come all the way back.
Avs crawl back from 3-0 hole. It is 3-3 in Dallas.

Avs down 3-2 after two periods, but they’ve turned the momentum a bit. Big third coming up.
Ryan Johansen tips in a Cale Makar shot on the power play, and the Avs have cut the Stars lead to 3-2.
This time, Colorado scores on power play. Stars lead is cut to 3-2 in 2nd.
3rd period is doing the hockey.
Miles Wood has scored after a great pass from Ross Colton. Looks like it will be challenged for goalie interference. Wood was falling into the goalie as it went in. There was a delayed penalty, so the #Avs are now getting a power play either way. Just whether it's 3-1 or 3-0.
After a big penalty kill, Miles Wood gets the #Avs back in this game. He scored on a partial break, cutting the Dallas lead to 3-1.
Third period is underway, #GoBolts trail 3-2 https://t.co/95ZfMwsvnJ
Two periods in the books. #Bolts trail 3-2 after 40 minutes. Shots were 8-3 Edmonton that period. They have a 27-14 advantage overall.
Broken play in front ends up in the back of the #Bolts net. Looks like Ryan was the last to touch it. Oilers go back up 3-2 with 4:05 left in the second.
That's the end of the first period. #Bolts trail the Oilers 2-1 with Edmonton holding a 19-11 shot advantage.
Flyers clip Knights in OT for 4th straight win https://t.co/bp72TG6sBU https://t.co/pDxHpoO5nz
Edmonton up 2-0, James Hamblin with a snipe from the left circle to the top far corner at 8:31 . . . #GoBolts under siege as Oilers have 12 shots already
Tough break for the #Bolts as Derek Ryan gets a partial shorthanded breakaway and he can't get a shot off, but the puck just squeaks through the five hole of Johansson and Edmonton takes a 1-0 lead.

Vegas and Philly heading to overtime tied 3-3.
Flyers do seem more to be hanging on in the third period than controlling play, as Vegas has amped up their intensity. Reminds me a lot of the first meeting between these two teams this season, & that ended with a last-minute VGK gamewinner.
Well that was an eventful period. Flyers give up 2-0 lead fail to convert a 5-minute major, re-take the lead on a Sean Walker seeing-eye floater, then take three straight penalties leading to Jonathan Marchessaullt tying it at 3-3. Hart stops Stone breakaway in closing seconds.
End of the second, 3-3. Another wild second period. Vegas face a lot of adversity, but come through it tied to start the third period.
3-3 after two periods. Flyers are skating right with the Golden Knights, and if it wasn't for that squandered five-minute power play and the deluge of late period penalties, they'd be cruising right now. Instead, we're in for a tense third period.
Golden Knights tie it up and that felt like it was coming after the Flyers couldn't capitalize on a five-minute power play. Game is back even at 2-2 with five minutes left in second period.
Looked like Flyers took a little while to get themselves situated. John Tortorella was animated on the bench during a stoppage. Flyers survived Golden Knights' early push and then got a power play goal for a 1-0 lead at first intermission. Carter Hart was important early.
Flyers (8-7-1) host defending champion Golden Knights (13-3-1). Flyers on season-best three-game win streak. VGK leads NHL with 27 points, but three of its four losses have come in last five games. Coverage at 12:30 p.m. ET on @NBCSPhilly. https://t.co/1ZdRUtvPr9
