The Philadelphia Flyers are working on bringing Alexei Kolosov to the NHL, focusing on the logistics of his immigration process. Kolosov is expected to start with the Phantoms in the AHL before potentially moving to the NHL. The team is seeking clarification from the league regarding roster moves and backup goaltenders.

According to the NHL Media site, the #LetsGoFlyers still haven't placed Ryan Johansen on IR. Felix Sandstrom is in the NHL on an emergency recall. I don't know if I am just missing something, but the roster size doesn't make sense to me for them to be able to add Fedotov.

.@charlieo_conn alluded to this in a question for Danny Briere: Do the Flyers have the ability if Kolosov started in the AHL to get him NHL games, due to the club using all 4 of their post-deadline recalls? “We have we need to get clarification from the NHL. I think Felix… https://t.co/gcVESE2VXP
Danny Briere it appears is waiting on clarification from the league if they are able to move one-for-one with another backup goaltender, with Felix Sandström being on an emergency recall For instance, when Ivan Fedotov arrives would he be able to slide in as the backup netminder
Danny Briere on Seeler, Drysdale, and Risto: "Seeler is getting closer. Small chance this weekend, maybe after this weekend. Drysdale is getting better and better, but not as close as Seeler is. Risto in his case we are not sure if he will be able to come back." #Flyers
Danny Briere on Alexei Kolosov: "We are dealing with a lot of immigration stuff, so that's why we don't have an exact timeline. It seems just gets pushed out and pushed out. I think soon, but not an exact date. I would say he starts with the Phantoms at this point." #Flyers

Seeler and Drysdale are again on the ice for morning skate. Briere said a few minutes ago that both are making progress, Seeler is closer to a return and is at least a possibility for this weekend. Drysdale isn't quite as close but Briere was optimistic he'll return this season.
Regarding Kolosov: they're working on the logistics of getting him over now. That's the main focus. Plan is for him to get some AHL games, and then they'll go from there. Didn't explicitly rule out him getting NHL games after a look in the AHL, though. (1/2)
Briere also said that Jamie Drysdale is making progress. He's not as close as Seeler, but Briere seemed pretty confident Drysdale will be back before the end of the regular season. Wasn't as confident about Ristolainen. Said that's more uncertain.
Briere says Nick Seeler is close to a return. Possible for the weekend, but not a guarantee. In any case, he's close.
