The Minnesota Wild made some changes to their lines and power play units during practice. Jared Spurgeon, who has been practicing with the group, could potentially play in the next game. Filip Gustavsson started in net for the Wild against the Rangers but was pulled after giving up three goals on four shots. Marc-Andre Fleury replaced him. The Rangers took an early lead, with Jimmy Vesey and Artemi Panarin scoring. The Wild had multiple power play opportunities but failed to convert. Marco Rossi scored the go-ahead goal for the Wild, giving them a 4-3 lead. The game was highly competitive, with both teams making strong plays and goalies making impressive saves.
