In a game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Carolina Hurricanes, Tristan Jarry, the Penguins' goaltender, made several crucial saves, but the Hurricanes managed to take the lead with a goal from Andrei Svechnikov. Despite a strong performance from Jarry, the Hurricanes secured a 4-2 victory, with Seth Jarvis scoring two goals and Antti Raanta making 24 saves. The Penguins had previously faced the Vegas Golden Knights, with the game ending 1-0 in favor of the Penguins after the first period.
End of the first, 1-0 Penguins. This first period was a bit of a departure from what we’ve seen. Vegas wasn’t sharp to start, but got better as the period wore on. They are missing the net quite a bit. Gotta force a goalie to make a stop on some of these looks.
The Penguins just gutted out a huge kill against Vegas, who got the first power play of the night. Graves and Letang came up with a couple of huge blocks, and Nedeljkovic made some big saves.
The Golden Knights kill it off. But man, did the Penguins generate some great looks.

W! The #Canes score three in the third to take a 4-2 victory from the Penguins. A tremendous response after Wednesday's frustrations. Two goals for Jarvis, and a 24-save win for Antti Raanta. https://t.co/N7E0pQxLNG https://t.co/MBJBLXndXm
Jarvy baby! Seth Jarvis puts the #Canes back in front with 8:08 to go in the third! 3-2! https://t.co/tAASY77SrR
Andrei Svechnikov! His first of the season! There it is. #Canes lead, 3-1! https://t.co/JaSNJt31On
The Penguins are certainly battling, their goaltender most of all. Tristan Jarry's come up with some big and timely saves in this one.
A Grade A chance for the #Canes in the opening seconds of the third period, but Jarry gets a piece of the Seth Jarvis bid. It's clear that the foot is still on the gas after a momentum-generating middle 20. https://t.co/5BXQuoUi4Y
The game opened up in a big way after that PK from Carolina with some back-and-forth action. Jarry is standing on his head.
