End of the second, 4-0 Vegas. They weathered the storm early in the second, and then exploded for three straight goals.
The rout is on in Vegas. Jack Eichel buries a perfect Mark Stone pass to score on the power play, making it 4-0. Not much of this game is on Georgiev. Vegas has been opportunistic and Colorado has been bit once again by turnovers.

Eichel x 2. Another assist from Stone, and the Knights take a 4-0 lead with a power-play goal with 6:11 left in the second.
Mark Stone with another assist, seconds after the last one. This time he feeds Eichel for a cross-ice one-timer, and it's 4-0 Vegas.
VGK eat the Avs alive on the kill once again. Then get an easy zone entry with the guy coming out of the box and Mark Stone went to work. Carrier with another one to the top shelf and VGK lead 3-0!
William Carrier. 3-0 Vegas. Great set up from Stone after the Avs just cough up the puck. Wow.

End of the first, 1-0 Vegas. That was really fun. Both teams had some great chances. Both goalies dialed in. Special teams continue to be impactful for Vegas, as their PK gets them on the board late.
Knights 1, Avs 0 after 20 entertaining minutes of hockey and strong play in net by both goaltenders. Shots were 13-12 VGK.

The #Avs had an excellent 4-on-3 power play, but they couldn't get a shot past Adin Hill. Then, when the power play ended, a Nathan MacKinnon turnover led to Vegas getting numbers the other way. Cale Makar goes down while defending the 2-on-1, and Mark Stone eventually scored.
