Sasha Barkov of the Florida Panthers missed practice initially due to maintenance reasons, but later rejoined the team. Coach Paul Maurice stated that Barkov is expected to play on Thursday, while Matthew Tkachuk's availability was uncertain. Tkachuk played in the game against Nashville, but Barkov was ruled out for that match. Although Barkov traveled with the team, he was unlikely to play in the upcoming game against the New York Rangers.
Barkov is on the trip with the Panthers, but it's not looking like he'll play tomorrow vs. NYR. "I don't have Barkov in the lineup tomorrow, but trainers will tell me if something changes," Maurice said.
