Sean Behrens and Tristan Broz, both key players from the University of Denver's NCAA Frozen Four championship team, have signed entry-level contracts with NHL teams. Behrens, a defenseman, signed a three-year contract with the Colorado Avalanche, effective from the 2024-25 season. Broz, a 21-year-old forward who scored crucial goals in the postseason, also inked a three-year entry-level deal with the Pittsburgh Penguins and will join the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins for the remainder of the season on an amateur tryout agreement.
