The Roy line has been dominant. They pick off a pass in the neutral zone, then Roy jumps on the rebound from Marchessault’s shot. 3-1 Vegas
Nic Roy. On the rebound. 3-1 Vegas. The Barbashev, Roy, Marchessault line will not be denied.

Vegas had a 5-3 lead on Nicolas Roy's goal at 19:08 of the second period. Tyler Toffoli scored at 19:44. Curtis Lazar scored at 9:14 of the third. Tie game. Just. Like. That. https://t.co/gKFZiF3atm
Lazar with his 2nd of he night as he benefits from the lively end boards and puck comes right to him and he jams it past Thompson to tie it 5-5. The Knights have had several quality chances to extend their lead but fail to convert. Now it's a dogfight the final 10+ minutes.
Some more troubles for Thompson tonight. Not sealed onto the post there and Lazar jams it home. We're tied again. 5-5
Nic Roy with a 3-point game (1 G, 2 A) so far. He has done a great job since being moved to the top line with Marchesssault and Barbashev.
End of the second, 5-4 Vegas. The Golden Knights really turned up the pressure offensively. But man, that last goal from Toffoli really can’t go in. Either way. One goal lead for Vegas going to the third.
Not a great time for VGK to give one right back there. Toffoli just kind of tricked Thompson on that one. Can't have it either from allowing the chance or the goal getting through. 5-4 VGK
Roy in right place at high time. Puck finds him and he buries it for 5-3 VGK lead with 51.2 left. But Toffoli scores again, this time with 15.8 to go to cut it to 5-4. And that's where we end after 40 minutes.
Jonathan Marchessault just continued to battle over and over and over until he could get that puck to the front. Roy smashes it home. 5-3 VGK and they are rolling now.

Marchessault cuts it to 3-2. That line continues to make plays. Roy tied up a defenseman and freed Marchy up to get a clean look.
Jonathan Marchessault. 3-2 Devils. That’s a goal in four consecutive games for Marchessault. A heck of a shift from Barbashev. Greasy, greasy goal.
End of the first, 2-1 Devils. It started out well for Vegas, but the Golden Knights fed the Devils transition chances, and caused quite a few of the issues they had down the stretch.
Nico Hischier ties it up with a quick shot from right in front. Vegas lost the puck at the offensive blue line, and the quick-strike Devils offense made them pay.
Sharp snipe from Nico Hischier off the turnover from Barbashev. Devils tie it. 1-1
