Martin Necas, a Czech forward, is joining the national team for the World Championship in Czechia. The team, including former Hurricanes players Ondrej Kase and Petr Mrazek, has two games left in Group A. Necas had 53 points in 77 NHL games this season and 9 points in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
