In a tightly contested hockey game, the Los Angeles Kings had their first real dangerous look on net thwarted by Logan Thompson, and later experienced frustration as two goals were disallowed due to goalie interference involving Trevor Moore. Kevin Fiala thought he had scored from the point, but the goal was waived off after Moore made contact with Thompson, spinning him around. Despite these challenges, Moore eventually scored with 1:59 remaining, narrowing the score to 3-2. The Kings had pulled their goalie, Talbot, for the extra attacker, which allowed Moore to find space and score from a sharp angle. The Knights' inability to defend a 6 on 5 situation was exposed once again. In a separate incident, a goal from another game was challenged for goalie interference when MacDermid was caught in the act, and the Blues' Manson might have had a goal disallowed for the same reason.
