The Anaheim Ducks were shut out 3-0 by the Calgary Flames, marking the third time the Ducks have been shut out this season. The Ducks' practice lines were as expected, with the exception of Lundeström who is injured. Jamie Drysdale made a return after a 29-game absence, and Mason McTavish was also expected to play. Trevor Zegras, while not yet back in the game, participated in an optional skate. Leo Carlsson, under the 'Leo Plan' allowing for three games a week, was expected to play after sitting out the previous Sunday's game. During the game, the Ducks faced penalties with Vatrano taking a slashing penalty and Henrique a tripping call. Lukas Dostal was in goal for the Ducks and had a strong performance, stopping 41 of 43 shots. However, the team's efforts were overshadowed by an injury to Carlsson, who had to leave the game after an incident with Weegar. Weegar himself had a tough game, enduring a slap shot block from Drysdale and a big hit from Brett Leason. On the Flames' side, Jacob Markstrom made 27 saves to achieve his 200th career NHL win and 19th shutout. The Flames continued their winning streak at the Honda Center, making it their sixth consecutive win at the venue.

Optional skate this morning for the Ducks—which Trevor Zegras, Mason McTavish and Jamie Drysdale all took part in. Expectation is that Leo Carlsson will play tonight and Saturday after sitting out Sunday’s game. The “Leo Plan” allows for three games a week now. #FlyTogether
Jamie Drysdale returns to action after a 29-game absence. Strong chance that the Ducks also get back Mason McTavish tonight. Trevor Zegras not quite there yet but continuing to skate regularly.
Zegras, McTavish and Lundeström all participated fully in practice. Think the latter is still a bit away from returning, should know tomorrow whether Zegras/McTavish are good to go. #FlyTogether https://t.co/7pKxBg8aXZ
