Devon Levi, a goalie for the Buffalo Sabres, was absent from practice due to soreness. As a result, Eric Comrie and Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen are expected to start in the upcoming game against the New Jersey Devils. Comrie led the Sabres in a recent game but got injured, leaving the team with only one healthy goalie. It is estimated that Comrie will be out for a few weeks, and Devin Cooley will serve as the backup. However, Levi has returned to practice as scheduled.

"The one thing about Eric Comrie is he’s about as hard a worker as you’ll find. ... So whatever the timeline is for him, he’ll be at the front end of it." More on Comrie's injury, Devon Levi's status, Devin Cooley's arrival and the #Sabres' new lines: https://t.co/6KtNWQZSfy
Eric Comrie will probably miss at least a few weeks, per Kevyn Adams. Had an MRI this morning. Devon Levi isn’t ready yet, so it appears Devin Cooley will back up tomorrow. #Sabres

Devon Levi is still dealing with soreness, so the Sabres see no need to push him. They've liked what they've seen from Comrie and Luukkonen. They'll give Levi more time to let the issue resolve.
Devon Levi is the only absence at Sabres practice this morning, which means you can expect Eric Comrie or UPL to start Friday in New Jersey.
